I believe this video is a group of comedians pulling a prank of unsuspecting amateur cyclists. Making them feel what it's like to win a stage on the tour. Funny stuff.

Is this really necessary?

It seems to me that there are more and more unnecessary products coming out for the fixed gear market. What is wrong with rolling up a pant leg or using one of those Velcro thingies around your ankle? Is is just me or is this really irrelevant?
